This  scholarship is for seniors in high school who attend high school in a county in which Bank First maintains an office.  Student must plan to attend a private or public college or university (2 or 4 year). The LTC Promise scholarship gives promising high school seniors in the Lakeshore community the opportunity to attend college by helping them access financial resources and enroll at LTC. By removing financial barriers, students who may not have had the opportunity will now be able to earn a degree and pursue a career.

We’re pleased to announce the LTC Promise scholarship, a program designed to bring a college education within the reach of those who could not otherwise afford it. The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 731, is offering two $1000.00 scholarships for high school seniors of Manitowoc County.   An essay is required.  Please  see attachment for details. The applications must be mailed and must not be postmarked later than March 2, 2021.

NOTE: Renewals are due to Student Services by 1/29/21. This scholarship will award up to five (including renewals) $1,000 scholarships to VHS graduating seniors who are entering a university, technical college or specialty school. Students CANNOT be in the top 10% of the class. ALL eligible VHS students are encouraged to apply; however, students majoring in lumber/forestry industries will get first preference. Special consideration is given to economically disadvantaged students based on parent’s income. This scholarship alone can be worth up to $4,000 to you over your four college years!

This scholarship is for use at a school within the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) located within the state. The value of the scholarship is up to $2,250 per year, to be applied towards tuition for six semesters.  Eligible students must attend a Wisconsin Technical Colleges to qualify for TES funding.  Please stop in student services if you would like to know more about this opportunity. If you would like to be considered for this scholarship, you must fill out a  request for consideration (attached) or in student services by the deadline.

The Sheboygan Area UAW CAP is sponsoring 6 scholarship awards to eligible graduating seniors.  Eligibility for these scholarships is limited to any son, daughter, or legal dependent of a parent who has been a member of the UAW for at least one year, and is a current member of any UAW local union affiliated with the Seboygan Area UAW Community Action Program Council.  Please see student services for an application.

Requirements:

Country Visions Cooperative and CP Feed, LLC will be awarding scholarships to 20 area students.  Eligible candidates will be 2021 high school seniors and enrolling in an undergraduate degree program by an accredited college or university, or planning to attend a vocational or technical school.  Parents or legal guardians of the student must be a member of Country Visions Coop or CP Feeds, LLc and have purchased $2000.00 worth of good or services in the year prior to application.  See link for more information and how to apply.

The Valders Lions Club Scholarship is open to all Valders High School seniors planning to attend college or technical college.  It is not necessary that your parent be affiliated with a Lions Club.  Special consideration will be given to seniors who have completed forty hours of community service.   Application should be turned in to Students Services by noon on 3/31/2021.  See attachment for application.

The Vernon Lemberger Memorial Scholarship is a $250.00 non-renewable scholarship awarded to a Valders High School graduating senior who will be majoring in Natural Resources at a college, university or technical school with the following emphasis: Fisheries and Water Resources, Forestry, Soil Sciences, or Wildlife Ecology. Payment of the scholarship will be after successful completion of the student’s first semester of college.  Please see attachment to apply.
