The Valders Area School District Nutrition Services program, as with all child nutrition programs throughout the state of Wisconsin, takes pride in selecting the healthiest kid-approved items and offer a variety of daily breakfast and lunch options for every student.

School Meal FAQ's

What do school meals include?
Breakfast meals include an entrée, fruit or vegetable and 1 milk. Lunch meals include an entrée that includes protein and grains, fruit, vegetable and 1 milk.

What is the cost for school meals?
Meal prices for the 2024-25 school year are as follows:

• Breakfast $1.75
• Elementary School Lunch $2.35
• Middle School Lunch $2.60
• High School Lunch $2.70

Meals will be charged to your student's lunch account. If you believe your family may qualify for free or reduced lunch, please see the Free and Reduced Lunch Application section below.

What about milk?
One milk is included with each breakfast or lunch. If milk is taken separately, without a breakfast or lunch, the cost is $0.50 and will be charged to your student's lunch account. A la carte items will also be charged to your student's lunch account.

The district will provide meals for school days only. Meals will not be provided for weekends, holidays, or breaks or other non- school days. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
 

Free and Reduced Application

Did you know... breakfast and lunch meals, as well as milk break (grades PK-5) are all included with free and/or reduced meal eligibility! Please take a few minutes to complete the application below to see if you may qualify. In addition to providing free or reduced meals to those who qualify, completed applications, regardless if you qualify or not, help increase district funding for a variety of programs supporting all students.

Paper applications are below and can be printed at home or are available at all school offices.
