My name is David Schmid.  I attended Milwaukee Lutheran high school and then graduated from Concordia University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.  I earned a Master's degree  in Computer Science education from Cardinal Stritch University and my Principal and Director of Curriculum degree from National Louis University.  I taught math at the high school and college level for 28 years.  The 2020-21 school year is my first year at Valders High School and my first year as a principal.  What I really enjoy about education is working with students and helping them learn and grow into the person they want to become. I am excited for the opportunity to serve the families in the Valders Area School District and look forward to getting to know everyone.
