My name is Brenda Schneider.  I am a graduate of Hilbert High School and hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Wiscosin-LaCrosse.  I earned a Master's of Science Degree in School Counseling from the University of Oshkosh and over the course of the past 21 years I have provided services for students in three Wisconsin School Districts.  I joined the Valders School District in 2005 as the Middle School Counselor for grades 5-8.  During my time in the district, I have also served as the Student Council Advisor, Peer Mentor Coordinator, S.P.A.R.K.L.E. Supervisor, PBIS Internal Coach, as well as many other supporting roles. In 2019, I earned the Herb Kohl Teacher Excellence Award. The most satisfying part of my counseling role has been offering students personal, developmental and academic support and having them appreciate who I am because of it.
